Who We Are

Children’s Chance International (CCI-Uganda) is a non-profit organization based in Lira, Northern Uganda. It was established in April 2008 with a strong commitment to supporting orphans, vulnerable children, youth, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs), especially in the post-conflict areas of Northern Uganda.

The organization is registered with the National NGO Registration Bureau under Registration No. 4296 and currently operates in the Lango, Acholi, and Teso sub-regions, with plans to expand nationally.

CCI-Uganda was founded out of compassion and the desire to respond to the suffering of communities—particularly children and women—affected by poverty, disease, and conflict. The organization works to empower these groups through life skills training, educational support, improved agriculture, maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS and malaria prevention, sexual and reproductive health, economic empowerment, and violence prevention.
